About Us
Athena Health Studio is a physiotherapy clinic in Grey Lynn, Auckland. Experienced physiotherapists provide detailed assessment to plan individualised treatment from rehabilitation through to higher level performance. We are experienced in rehabilitation of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions with a whole person focus.
We have an onsite fully equipped gym for rehabilitation as well as a clinical pilates space to help you reach your goals. Our physiotherapists like to work to improve movement quality and strength as well as addressing lifestyle factors that may be impacting you.
We have a special interest in working with people as they navigate pregnancy, post partum and menopause. Female bodies change at key points in our lives and sometimes this requires a specific focus and approach.

Senior Physiotherapist
I have been a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist for 19 years and have treated a variety of conditions ranging from acute sporting injuries, postural dysfunctions, pre/post natal woman, post-op joint replacements, Team Sports Physio to Rugby League (International, national), Rugby Union, Netball (national), Athletics and private 1:1 Clinical Pilates.
I graduated from AUT (BHSc Physio) in 2006 and completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine from Otago Uni in 2010. I have trained in clinical pilates through DMA and APPI and have logged many clinical hours in rehabilitation, which I specialised in when working in London.
I have a holistic assessment and treatment approach and use the knowledge I have gained over the years to focus on treating the cause of the complaint. My promise to you is that I will not give up, my approach to physio has always been to treat a client the way I would want my family to be treated. I will be the first to let you know if you need a referral to another health care provider and will help you navigate this pathway.
I have two young boys and when Iām not working or running after the kids I love to run, walk, go to the gym, do a pilates class, spend time with family and enjoy a glass of wine with the husband.
